The Schenectady Railway Company connects the three cities, as well as other cities in the area like Saratoga Springs and Ballston Spa, making it easy for people to hop on Amtrak to get to other cities across the country.

As a suburb of Albany, Colonie has a dense population yet was named one of the safest places to live in the entire country. It offers over 850 acres of parks and facilities, including many along the beautiful Mohawk River, and is the perfect place to get out of the city and into nature.

This village is known for its mineral spring water, which used to be the main draw for visitors from all over the world. Now it’s known for its cozy feel, and for the Ballston Spa National Bank, which is one of the oldest banks in America.

Guilderland offers the small town life with easy access to everything the Capital District provides. There’s also a treasure trove of historic sites, including dozens of sites on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. You can visit historic taverns, churches, and farmhouses in Guilderland, giving you a peek into the past.
